Mascota Segura 360
Terms

Terms and conditions

This document is pending legal review and will be completed with the company’s registration details before launch. We are publishing it now because it describes exactly how we handle your data, and we would rather you read it before signing up than after.

1. What this platform is

Mascota Segura 360 is an intermediary that connects people who need care for their animals with people who offer that care. We do not directly provide the walking, boarding, visiting or day-care services: they are provided by the sitter you choose, who acts on their own account.

That distinction is not a formula for dodging responsibility. It determines who answers for what, which is why it sits in point one and not buried in section eleven.

2. Requirements for using the platform

Being of legal age and providing truthful information. An account created with false details may be suspended without notice, and verification exists precisely to catch that before anyone hands over the key to their home.

3. Obligations of the person booking

  • Provide complete and truthful information about the animal, including problem behaviours, allergies, treatments and any history of reactivity.
  • Keep the animal properly identified, vaccinated and dewormed.
  • Hand over any prescribed medication, correctly labelled and with written instructions.
  • Provide the contact details of a regular vet and, where appropriate, written authorisation to act in an emergency.

Concealing known aggressive behaviour is the most frequent cause of serious incidents — and the most avoidable.

4. Obligations of the person providing the service

  • Provide the service personally, under the agreed conditions and schedule.
  • Comply with applicable law, including the municipal ordinance of the place where the service is provided and whatever tax and social security obligations apply to them.
  • Report any incident immediately, however minor it seems.
  • Not subcontract the service or pass access to the home to third parties.

5. Bookings, prices and payments

Each sitter sets their own rate. The ranges we publish on the website are indicative and do not constitute an offer. A booking is formed when the sitter accepts it; until that moment there is no contract between the parties.

The amount is charged when the booking is confirmed. The platform withholds a commission, itemised before acceptance.

6. Cancellations

Each sitter publishes their cancellation policy on their profile, and that is the policy that applies to the bookings they accept. Cancellations made by the sitter cost the person booking nothing and entitle them to a full refund of what was paid.

7. Liability

The platform answers for the proper functioning of the intermediation service: the matchmaking, the management of the booking, the payment and the incident procedure.

For the material provision of the care, the sitter answers. We expressly recommend that sitters carry their own public liability insurance, and that those booking check that they do.

We do not answer for damage arising from false or incomplete information provided by either party.

8. Content and reviews

Reviews must correspond to services actually booked through the platform. Publishing false reviews — your own or anyone else's — is forbidden, as is any content that is defamatory or infringes the rights of others.

9. Operating outside the platform

Arranging and charging for a service outside the platform, after having met through it, breaches these terms. Beyond the contractual consequences, it leaves the service with no time log, no report, no incident procedure and none of the guarantees described here.

10. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms or the community standards, with particular rigour in cases of animal mistreatment, identity impersonation and falsified verification.

You can close your account at any time from your account settings.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction under consumer protection legislation.
