From the search to the walk home
The whole journey, told plainly: how you search, what happens at the meet-and-greet, what happens during the service and what we do when something goes wrong.
Search, meet, book
None of the three gets skipped. The middle one is what makes the other two work.
1.You search by area and service
Filter by neighbourhood, service type and time of day. Each profile states that person's experience, which animals they usually work with and what they don't accept.
2.You meet before anything else
The meet-and-greet is free, it happens at your home and you're there. It's how you see your animal react to that specific person, rather than to the idea of them.
3.You book and follow the service
Confirm the dates and the hours, and from then on every visit or walk is logged with a start time, an end time and a summary.
The booking, hour by hour
This is what a walk looks like. A long stay is the same thing with more days in the middle.
Confirmation
The sitter accepts or declines within an agreed window. If they decline you're charged nothing and the app suggests equivalent profiles in your area.
Reminder
The day before, you get a note with the time and the name of who's coming, in case anything needs changing while there's still room to change it.
Service starts
The sitter checks in. From that moment the service is live and you can see it in the app.
During
The route on a map for a walk, or task confirmations for a home visit. You don't have to watch — it's there if you want to.
Wrap-up and summary
When it ends you get the report: duration, route, whether they ate, whether they did their business, and a photo.
What happens if there's a problem
This is the part almost nobody explains and the only one that matters on the day it happens.
The sitter can't make it
They have to tell you as soon as they know. The booking is cancelled at no cost to you and you get profiles available for that same slot.
Your animal falls ill
The sitter calls you immediately and follows the veterinary authorisation you signed beforehand. That's why we ask for it in advance and not in the moment.
There's an incident with another animal
It's documented, you're told the same day, and the case goes to review. A confirmed incident affects the sitter's profile.
You're not happy with the service
You can report it from the booking itself. We review the report, the time log and both accounts before resolving anything.
Changing your plans
Each sitter sets their own policy and shows it on their profile before you book. Typically a cancellation with notice costs nothing and a last-minute one does, because that slot was already blocked and wasn't offered to anybody else. Cancellations by the sitter never cost you anything.
The first step is meeting somebody
The meet-and-greet is free and commits you to nothing.
