Three tiers by size and cost of living. The same walk doesn't cost the same in Marbella as in Valladolid.

Why two rates aren't alike
Duration and frequency
An hour costs more than half an hour, but booking three fixed days a week brings the price per outing down noticeably.
Time of day
Early mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays sit at the top of the range, and in summer so does sunrise.
Number of animals
Two dogs from the same household don't cost double, but they do cost more than one. Same with several cats on a home visit.
Special needs
Prescribed medication, wound care, limited mobility or reactivity all take more time and more experience, and that's paid for.
Travel
In sprawling municipalities, or out to outlying districts and developments, a surcharge for the actual journey is normal.
Peak dates
Christmas, Easter and the second half of August concentrate a year's demand into a handful of weeks.
